The Varsity Advanced Chess

The Varsity is your high-level chess party!

Laughter, longer-clocks, and compelling teaching approaches make this class the week's highlight for the kids who make up an awesome advanced component of The Knight School's network of chess teams. Our curriculum is awesomely effective, and our students get devastatingly good at chess while laughing along the whole time!

This weekly program focuses on deeper opening theory, tournament preparation, and maintaining a love of chess at the highest level of play. Students with a desire to grow more competitive, Tournaparty Champions, and Legendary Black Shirts pack this weekly chess program full of enthusiasm each and every lesson.

The Varsity meets weekly for two hours--and we serve pizza! Discount available if your child is already enrolled in one of our other weekly programs, such as The Knight School Elementary Chess.
